A software application that gives users the ability to swap clothing. Not Sell, SWAP!!
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Building new connections with interesting people, turning them into friends, adding value to their lives and them adding value to mine. priceless.
What inspired you to start your business?
I watch a documentary called The true cost. It’s about the negative impact that the fashion industry has in our environment. I became obsessed with finding a true sustainable solution to keep clothes in circulation longer.
What gets you out of bed every morning?
The desire to leave a legacy and do something meaningful for our planet.
What is your secret to making progress each day?
I meditate. It’s been a part of my life for quite sometime. The startup life can be quite challenging. Grounding yourself and self care is a must.

I am actually very shy.

I have a startup, weekends, weekdays, is there a difference? lol
What will people get from your business that they won’t get anywhere else?
Not only are they going to be saving money by swapping what they already have in their closet but a great sense joy knowing that they are doing their part for the good of our planet.
Have you won any awards or had any special recognition or acknowledgement of your business?
We are in a very early stage but Being accepted as part of the UCF business incubator program was a major accomplishment for me.
What are your plans for the future of your business?
My vision for SwapCo is to see it grow pass Clothing. Everything we need has already been produced. Why sell, lets just swap EVERYTHING pass our closets.
What’s your secret talent no one knows about?
I’m a pretty good salsa dancer, lol
What did you want to be when growing up?
I wanted to be a doctor. I’m very glad I didn’t go that route.
What is your favorite thing to do in the wonderful area of Central Florida?
I love people watching and Orlando is the best place for that.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
Well, as CEO of a startup, I wear pretty much all the hats. It’s not as glamorous as people might think. lol I had a booth at a festival last week to promote the app and I was carrying tents and chairs and passing out flyers, etc. Yeap, that’s the CEO life of a startup.
What do you love most about your industry?
I’ve always been passionate about fashion. Now I get to alleviate the negative effects it has in our environment. that makes me happy.
How have you advanced professionally since starting your business?
I’ve had other businesses in the past but its my first time as a Tech Founder. Professionally it’s taking me to levels i never thought I would reach, And I’m very thankful for that. I learn something-new everyday.
