UCF Business Incubator Client named the December distributor of the month by EZ-ACCESS
Daytona Beach, Fla. (February 6, 2024) – For small businesses, national recognition of their work can significantly help its business. When it comes from the company’s key partner, it’s truly a representation of the great work of the business.
This month, Daytona Beach-based Install Don’t Fall, a home safety business focused on helping people with mobility and accessibility, was recognized by EZ-ACCESS, the company’s supplier for wheelchair ramps.
“The recognition given to us by EZ-ACCESS this month is phenomenal as they have an incredible product and have been a tremendous partner for us,” says Jacob Wilkerson, president & CEO, Install Don’t Fall. “EZ-ACCESS has allowed my team to have direct and immediate access to the design aspect of safety ramp systems for our customers.”
Install Don’t Fall is one of 2,500 distributors nationwide for EZ-ACCESS.
In early 2020, the Wilkerson family decided to restart Install Don’t Fall, which Jacob’s father Ronald owned until 2011. Jacob, who had worked for two decades in the Deland Fire Department took the helm and the new company became official on March 3, 2020, a week before the COVID shutdowns started.
The company persevered and today has an entire line of mobility and accessibility equipment, such as safety bars, tub cut outs and wheelchair ramps. Install Don’t Fall now employs nine people in Volusia County and has performed over 500 installs over the past three years.
The newsletter article talked about the company’s history as well as about the relationship between the two companies. In the article, Wilkerson talked about how EZ-ACCESS helped improve customer service.
“EZ-ACCESS makes the ability to return to the office with a site drawing and finalize a quote, with total costs, in a couple of hours a huge benefit to my company,” Wilkerson says. “Our clients really appreciate the quick turnaround on quotes, and we enjoy the benefits of a happy client. EZ-ACCESS and EZ-VIZION have helped Install Don’t Fall FL take that next step in providing exceptional customer service, which is a core principle of my company.”
