CSF Technologies Relocates Corporate Headquarters to Orlando at UCF Business Incubator in Research Park
ORLANDO, Fla. – CSF Technologies, an IT solutions company that focuses on network infrastructure support and systems engineering for government and commercial enterprises, who opened a satellite office as a Soft Landing client in the UCF Business Incubator, has officially moved their corporate headquarters to Orlando.
Laurette Gibbs, vice president of CSF Technologies, said “while the Washington, DC area would be a more traditional choice for relocation of an IT company working in the government market, for a company of its size, the benefits of being based in Central Florida far outweigh being in the congested DC market.”
“Many of the same players in DC are present here in Orlando’s Central Florida Research Park. Here in Florida, it’s much easier to have face-to-face contact with both large and small peers, our chance for visibility is much greater and we can build a qualified workforce more economically than in the oversaturated northeast,” Gibbs said.
Currently CSF Technologies employs seven core staff members — the founder and CEO also relocated — and they expect to increase up to 10-15 employees this year to fulfill upcoming contract task orders, she explained.
“Besides the quality of life in a warmer climate, we were even more convinced by the refreshingly lower personal and business taxes, the accessibility of government officials and people are just more helpful in general,” she said, adding “I believe it’s because of the high percentage of small businesses in Florida in general.”
The UCF Business Incubator’s Soft Landing program provides fast growing technology companies who are headquartered outside of Metro Orlando with business support and facilities to quickly set up a Central Florida operation.
In the six years UCF has offered the program, over two dozen international and domestic companies have joined the program and two have decided to relocate their corporate operations here.
