CCI Group Signs Five-year Contract with U.S. Air Force

Orlando, Fla. (July 26, 2019) – Translation and interpretation contractor, CCI Group, has entered into a five-year agreement with the U.S. Air Force. The first year’s budget calls for the Air Force to spend up to $600,000 on the company’s services.

The Federal contract calls for the Orlando-based company to provide sign language services to the deaf and hard of hearing employees of the 802nd Civil Engineering Squadron. CCI Group’s certified interpreters will provide interpretation of discussions and spoken presentations during meetings, briefings, and training functions.

“I am honored that CCI Group has been entrusted by the Air Force to provide them high-quality interpretation services,” says Indy Vega, CEO, CCI Group. “CCI Group is committed bridging communication gaps wherever they exist, but we are especially grateful to do so for the military.”

CCI Group will hire certified sign language interpreters based on the volume of services needed. The number of new employees has not been determined.

While the agreement is CCI Group’s first defense contract, the certified 8(a) and woman-owned small business has been awarded contracts by other federal, state and local government agencies.
