Award Winning Creative Powerhouse Selected to Create 25th Anniversary Film for Hispanic Business Initiative Fund

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Hispanic Business Initiative Fund recently celebrated 25 years as the leading non-profit organization dedicated to the development of Hispanic businesses. To commemorate the important milestone, HBIF selected Creative Powerhouse (CP) to create a retrospective video telling the story of their twenty-five-year journey.

“The goals of the HBIF are very near to my heart,” said CP CEO and Director Jose Portals. “Our company shares their passion for assisting the development of small businesses, so we were honored to help HBIF tell their story.”

The powerful video telling the HBIF story using the stories and words of their client company founders was debuted at the recent annual Success Stories Luncheon

Portals was a natural fit for the project as a successful Hispanic business owner himself with decades of experience working with Hispanic and non-Hispanic businesses.

“We selected Creative Powerhouse because of our past experience working with them,” said Maria A. Yabrudy, statewide marketing director of HBIF. “Jose has consistently understood our vision for each project and event, and has gone above and beyond to deliver top quality products. This video was particularly significant for our organization and the reaction of our clients and supporters has been terrific.”

CP clients span numerous industries nationally and internationally. Their highly creative, multicultural work has received awards in festivals such as Cannes and the New York Film Festival.

Originally headquartered in Puerto Rico, Portals decided to move the company to Orlando a few years ago to build the CP brand in the US market.

Creative Powerhouse is a client company of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program at Central Florida Research Park in East Orange County.
