This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone in TacMed Solutions’ mission to minimize preventable deaths and advance cutting-edge trauma medicine.
RINI Technologies’ expertise in pre-hospital Cold Chain technology complements TacMed Solutions’ “Blood To Go” program, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver critical solutions to warfighters, medics, and first responders. The integration of RINI’s innovative thermal management systems will improve patient outcomes and increase survivability in high-stakes environments.
Among RINI’s standout innovations is the Personal Cooling System (PCS)—a lightweight, body-worn device that circulates chilled water through a vest to reduce heat stress and maintain core body temperature in the harshest environments. Also included in the acquisition are the xFRIDGEs and xFREEZERs, rugged, portable cold-storage systems engineered to maintain medical-grade temperatures for blood products, medications, and other critical supplies. These systems are battery and solar power capable, making them ideal for field deployment in austere settings.
