SMI Corporation Names Veteran Walgreen’s Executive as CEO
ORLANDO – The Board of SMI Corporation recently announced that Marlin Hutchens has joined its management team as chief executive officer to lead their Intelligent Solutions On-Demand™ Subsidiary, iSOD™ Corporation.
During a 40-year career with Walgreens Drug Stores, Hutchens continuously advanced into supervising multiple store operations in the Midwest and the Southeast including Florida and Puerto Rico.

Throughout his tenure at Walgreens, Hutchens was involved in strategic and financial management, program design, capital development and mergers and acquisitions.
He has been active in community and civic service through the years and he was honored by Governor Rick Scott for unselfish service to the citizens of Florida. “Marlin Hutchens is an exceptional senior executive who possesses an envious record of executive performance,” Newkirk said.
