AI tech giant puts UCF Business Incubation Program client in front of a network of VCs
Orlando, Fla. (May 5, 2026) – Capacitech Energy, a client company of the UCF Business Incubation Program, was recently listed by Nvidia on its Inception Capital Connect program, putting the company in front of a worldwide network of venture capital funds and investors.
In addition, the program provides Capacitech with the latest developer tools and training, preferred pricing on NVIDIA hardware and software, and exclusive offers from NVIDIA partners.
“NVIDIA is one of the foremost companies driving technology throughout the world and being associated with them can be a tremendous boost to our company,’ says Joe Sleppy, CEO and founder, Capacitech Energy. “The tools that NVIDIA provides can help us further develop our technology to be utilized by AI companies, particularly in data center construction, a major focus for this new technology.”
Capacitech delivers advanced, fully integrated supercapacitor systems engineered for high-power, rapid-response applications such as artificial intelligence data centers. Backed by national labs and grid operators, the company has solved the real challenge of making supercapacitor technology practical to deploy and scale.
At the heart of Capacitech’s solutions is the C-Link supercapacitor module, a fully integrated supercapacitor energy storage system complete with plug-and-play connectors, cooling, power management, and an installation-ready enclosure.
Unlike traditional cabinet-based systems, the modular design mounts anywhere, including on walls, fences, and inside cable trays to add power resilience without large cabinets, concrete pads, or heavy construction.
The C-Link is designed for microgrids, utilities managing distributed energy resources and large ramping loads and data centers managing AI workload surges.
The Inception program by Nvidia specifically targets private early-stage companies like Capacitech. The requirements are to employ at least one developer, maintain a working website, be officially incorporated, and be less than 10 years old. NVIDIA screens potential companies, requiring them to submit a pitch deck for acceptance.
“Capacitech continues to build a high-level resume of partnerships with many of the worldwide leaders in technology and energy in a way that is truly impressive,” says Rafael Caamano, interim director, Innovation Districts & Incubation Program.
