UCF Business Incubation client brings its data visualization software to potential defense customers

Orlando, Fla. (April 13, 2023) – It’s fairly simple that if you want to grow your business, you need to find ways to get in front of potential clients.

AVA Intelligence is one of 16 companies selected to be featured at Central Florida Tech Grove’s Innovation Harvest Day, a regular event hosted by Tech Grove and the National Center for Simulation to provide key leaders in the military an opportunity to learn about cutting-edge technologies that might be useful to their missions.

“This is a significant opportunity for our firm to reinforce what we can provide to this industry,” says Marc Asselin, founder and CEO, AVA Intelligence. “Almost everything in today’s world is dependent on how you can best read data and our software can be key.”

The data used by the military, supply companies and more often comes in a variety of formats, which often are not compatible with each other.

What AVA Intelligence does is take a user’s diverse data sets and brings them together in a wide range of visualizations, including using virtual and augmented reality technology, to allow customers to have better interpretation of what the data is showcasing.

The company launched its first demonstration project at I/ITSEC in November of 2022 and has launched its first pre-seed capital raise.

After decades of consulting in technology, Asselin came upon a common theme: Companies and agencies had lots of disparate data and almost no idea how to use it.

“It was a loaded question but I’d ask if a client had control over their data and utilizing it to gain insights, the answer was always ‘no’,” he says.

Over time, the consulting company started developing repeatable processes for these companies that eventually became the basis for AVA’s software technology.

The Innovation Harvest Day program will be held on April 17, 2023 at the Central Florida Tech Grove.
