KNDS France and VRAI, a simulation data company, have announced a partnership at DSEI this year. As the French leader in land defence, KNDS France and its subsidiaries support armed forces in meeting the challenges of today and tomorrow.
VRAI’s mission is to redefine exceptional human performance, and believe that the data generated in simulators is an untapped resource that can be used to transform how people train.
VRAI are niche leaders, providing human performance data products to their customers, delivering data driven insights that reduce the cost and time to train personnel, while improving crew performance.
The partnership with KNDS is also a recognition of the innovative simulation solutions VRAI can offer to KNDS’s customers, such as their ReACT Armour Crew virtual reality (VR) training solution.

KNDS France and VRAI signed their new partnership at DSEI in London’s Excel this week. Commenting on the new partnership, Alexandre Penley, KNDS Vice President for BD Europe & NATO said:
“We are thrilled to unite the innovative simulation technologies developed by VRAI and KNDS France within a single ecosystem, enriching the possibilities for our customers. This strategic integration will open new horizons – enabling richer, smarter, and more adaptive analytical processing experiences. It’s a leap forward that redefines what the future of AI simulation can achieve.”
KNDS France & VRAI will collaborate around VRAI’s HEAT simulation data solution, their ReACT Virtual Reality (VR) Armour Crew simulator and KNDS simulation products to offer insights to their customers into how to reduce the time and cost it takes to train armour crews while improving crew performance.
The partnership will also focus on building large datasets to drive future AI support tools for armour crews. Pat O’Connor, VRAI’s CEO said:
“We are very excited to announce our partnership with KNDS France. This partnership is a great example of how an innovative dual use technology company like VRAI, can complement and grow in partnership with a larger OEM like KNDS France, to bring innovative solutions to our soldiers, sailors and aircrew, faster. We believe that the data generated in simulation can not only drive insight into performance, but is also critical to our customers ability to build AI enabled support tools for their end users.”
