Longwood, Fla., (January 26, 2026) Matt Rose, Chief Experience Officer and co-founder of Tech Rage IT, has been appointed to the Seminole County Public Schools inaugural IT Program Advisory Council, a newly formed council focused on strengthening technology education and workforce readiness across the district.

The IT Program Advisory Council was created to connect information technology industry leaders with educators to help guide curriculum development and ensure students of all ages are gaining relevant, real-world technology skills. The council will support Seminole County Public Schools in aligning classroom instruction with the evolving needs of the IT and technology workforce.

“I’m excited to be part of this council and contribute from an industry perspective,” said Rose. “Technology careers continue to evolve quickly, and it’s important that students are exposed early to the skills and concepts that will actually matter when they enter the workforce.”

Through the council, Rose and other members will collaborate with teachers and district leaders to provide input on IT curriculum, emerging technologies, and practical skill development. This includes helping educators understand which technical skills, certifications, and foundational knowledge best prepare students for careers in IT, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and related technology fields.

Rose emphasized that partnerships between local businesses and school systems play a critical role in building a strong talent pipeline.

“Schools do an incredible job educating students, and industry involvement helps bridge the gap between education and real-world application,” Rose said. “When curriculum reflects how technology is actually used in business today, students are better prepared for long-term success.”

Tech Rage IT has long supported workforce development and community engagement throughout Central Florida, and this appointment reflects the company’s continued commitment to investing in the future of the local technology community.
