New business looks to help companies use AI for secure data
Orlando, Fla. (October 21, 2025) Anyone dealing with healthcare records understands how damaging a breach of confidentiality could be to their organization. After all, there are strict rules about patient information in federal law.
That’s why healthcare is among the slowest industries to truly incorporate AI into patient data, worrying about the security of third-party providers with confidential data.
“One of our partners is an expert in healthcare technology and saw the issues companies were having by implementing AI,” says Chris Clemons, partner, Steadfast AI. “He basically reverse-engineered the problem to develop this solution for businesses.”
Steadfast AI was formed by three partners and is the newest client in the UCF Business Incubation Program. Clemons oversees the day-to-day operations of the company. Kyle Knowles has an extensive background in healthcare technology. The third partner, Chase Fopiano, has a background in cybersecurity. Fopiano and Clemons are former law enforcement officers, and Knowles and Clemons are veterans.
The new technology integrates a Model Context Protocol security tool that actively monitors and enforces security policies in real-time while AI applications run. Every interaction, decision and data flow is verified against an organization’s compliance requirements, ensuring complete governance and auditability.
The company joined the UCF Business Incubation Program on September 1 to help improve the company’s messaging and branding, along with helping grow its market.
“Nearly every company is trying to figure out the best way to use the new technologies coming out today but there are legitimate concerns that must be addressed,” says Kelly Daubach, site manager, East Colonial Incubator. “Steadfast AI has developed a way to ease the concerns businesses have where data must remain confidential.”
While Steadfast AI is initially targeting healthcare because of their experience, any industry with regulated data, such as schools, defense, and financial sectors, may present opportunities for growth for the company.
