Winter Springs Based Med-Bill Inc. Launches New Website to Help Doctors Lower Billing Costs
Winter Springs, Fla. (Aug. 28, 2015) — Med-Bill Inc., based in Winter Springs, has launched a new web site designed to help medical practices incorporate new ICD-10-CM standards, or the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification.
Louie B. Hilal, chief executive officer at Med-Bill, said doctors offices are required to comply with the new ICD-10-CM codes to document diagnoses, and they are looking for easy solutions.
Hilal said the differences between ICD-9 and ICD-10-CM standards are significant and management staff at physician practices need to educate themselves about the major change before the compliance deadline.
“For health care providers, billing codes can be one of the most irritating and confounding elements of a private practice,” Hilal explained, adding “and most training systems on the market are either too expensive or too rudimentary to fit individual or group needs.”
Hilal said Med-Bill’s online ICD-9 to ICD-10 converter is free, fast and an effective way to reduce the problems that come with the change-over which will impact all physicians.
“We have formed dynamic partnerships with several software providers so we can optimize billing systems without interruption or lost data,” he said.
Med-Bill does all its billing work in-house. “We’re located right here in Central Florida, we focus on Central Florida medical practices and we can respond to an issue, a question or a new development immediately and with familiarity,” Hilal explained.
