TackleWebs Fishing Gear Lands Five Co-Brand Partners – OEM Products for Other Lifestyle Retailers is a Win-Win
Winter Springs, Fla. — TackleWebs fishing gear and marine products which are sold at major outdoor sport stores and online at Tacklewebs.com, now has five retailers in Florida and Georgia who chose to enhance their businesses with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) products.8
Captain Mike Ortego, CEO, said Tacklewebs does OEM products for BOTE Paddle Boards in Fort Walton Beach, Hell’s Bay Boatworks in Titusville, Kaku Kayaks in Tarpon Springs, Deck Gear Fishing Seats in Venice and Carolina Skiffs in Waycross, Ga.
Ortego developed a way to print high-quality graphics on the mesh pockets of TackleWebs and CoolerWebs giving them an excellent platform to partner with lifestyle brands who have the same or similar promotion channels and target market as Tacklewebs.
“These companies can give their regular, established and trusted customers an accessory — something new without the headaches of new product development,” Ortego said, adding “At the same time we get our products exposed to new audiences. It’s a win-win.”
Tacklewebs, which established corporate offices at the UCF Business Incubator in Winter Springs plans to get their help structuring Tacklewebs into a sales distributorship that will keep purchase orders steadily coming in.
More diversification is on the horizon. Ortego will be debuting a TackleWeb fire extinguisher holder at this summer’s ICAST trade show. Stay tuned, the company has more gear bag variations underway for the Agriculture and ATV industries.
The current line of unique flexible storage products with both bungee and specially formulated adhesive hook and loop for boats currently retail from $14.99 to $49.99, and they are manufactured and packaged in Orlando. A new patented pedestal seat with bracket system is $59.99.
