Serious Simulations, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business and leader in advanced live, virtual, and mixed-reality training technologies, will exhibit at ITEC 2026, April 14–16 at the ExCeL Centre in London. Located in the Dual Tech Zone, Booth NC16, the company will showcase new proximity-based training systems, weapon-mounted instrumentation, and next-generation live-training devices.
New Products for Live Force-on-Force Training
Serious Simulations will debut several next-generation devices compatible with ULEIS,MILES and the U.S. Army’s STE LTS architecture, including:
SIM M67™-The intelligent simulated hand grenade for the Army’s Grenade Training System (GTS), delivering real-time proximity-base battle damage effects.
SIM M18™-The intelligent simulated Claymore mine for the Claymore Training System (CTS), providing advanced proximity-based effects for realistic mounted and dismounted scenarios.
These systems expand the company’s patented family of Sim Grenades™ and Sim Mines™, already fielded in U.S. Army programs.
New Contracts and Production Milestones
Serious Simulations continues to advance multiple U.S. Army efforts:
- STE LTS Increment 1 — Ongoing development and production of next-generation weapon instrumentation and proximity-based technologies for the M67, M18, and Universal Receiver Unit (URU). All three devices are now in Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP).
- M111 Force-on-Force Training Grenade — A new kinetic-payload grenade delivering enhanced realism and safe effects for close-quarters training.
- Drone Instrumentation Kits — Enabling two-way simulated kinetic interactions between UAS platforms and ground forces.
- M81 Prototyping — Advancing the simulated firing mechanism for the M18 Simulated Claymore to increase fidelity and realism.
- The company was recently awarded a “Bridge to Enduring STE TESS Multiple Award Contract (BEST MAC)”, expanding its role in next-generation live-training effects. Under this award, Serious Simulations is advancing the Crew Kill Module (CKM) for the Stryker vehicle, enabling precise lethality assessment and seamless integration of mounted and dismounted training.
Advancing UAS Training Effects
- Building on its patented proximity-based effects, the company has developed UAS-mounted training payloads that replicate multiple UAS threat profiles. Each payload includes a MILES detector, multi-mode Kill Indicator, and Individual Player Unit (IPU) for hit reporting and status display.
UAS Payload Variants:
- UAS Suicide Payload — Replicates suicide-style UAS attacks and can simulate “downed” drones with still-armed munitions.
- UAS Dropped Munition Payload — Allows UAS platforms to deploy simulated munitions, including lightweight and standard simulated hand grenades, simulated mortar rounds, and simulated FASCAM munitions.
Live Demonstrations at ITEC
Members of the press are invited to Booth NC16 for an exclusive demonstration of the company’s patented Sim Grenades™, presented by Christopher Chambers, Founder and CEO and Michael Burroughs, Director of Technology. Mr. Chambers will also deliver a live pod demonstration in the DualTech Theatre at 11:40 AM on April 16, offering deeper insight into the technology and its role in next-generation live training.
