What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most about my work is meeting with customers at the end of the month and helping them understand the importance of recognizing their employees. I also love hearing employees say they now feel valued and recognized. It’s rewarding to know we are helping both people and companies succeed.
What inspired you to start your business?
I started this business after an issue in my last startup. I lost a valuable employee, even though he was earning the highest salary. I didn’t understand why he left until I realized I wasn’t recognizing his work enough. This led to other employees leaving, which cost time and money. That experience inspired me to help other companies avoid the same mistake by recognizing their employees and teams, especially with the new generation, and achieving better results with a single indicator.
What gets you out of bed every morning?
What gets me out of bed every morning is knowing that by the end of the day, I will have helped and served others.
What is your secret to making progress each day?
For me, the secret to making progress each day is having clear goals for where I want to be in one month, three months, and a year. I eliminate distractions by organizing my schedule and avoiding activities that don’t help me reach those goals.
Tell us one thing people don’t know about you.
One thing people don’t know about me is that I’ve stopped telling others what I plan to do before starting. Now, I focus on completing the work first, then sharing it once it’s done. This is a recent change I’ve made and nobody knows.
A typical weekend for me is…
spending time with my family, going to parks, the beach, or visiting new places. It’s when I disconnect from everything and focus on being with them.

What people will get from our business that they won’t find elsewhere is our commitment to their success. We focus on helping them achieve results while emphasizing the importance of their people. Our goal is to work tirelessly to create a recurring impact on their business.
Have you won any awards or had any special recognition or acknowledgement of your business?
Yes, we won third place in an elevator pitch competition for tech startups and were invited to speak at another university to present our solution.
What are your plans for the future of your business?
My plan for the future of DeTask is to change how we work, especially in remote environments with the new generation. I aim to create a benchmark system that measures a company’s department performance against others in the same industry.
What’s your secret talent no one knows about?
My secret talent is staying resilient, not being afraid to fail, and always asking for help from others, especially those I admire who have created big things. This helps me keep moving forward and learn from every challenge.
What did you want to be when growing up?
I just wanted to help people succeed and prosper through my work.
What is your favorite thing to do in the wonderful area of Central Florida?
Visiting the Kennedy Space Center.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
People would never guess that I spend time reading about subjects outside my field, like microeconomics or history.
What do you love most about your industry?
What I love most about my industry is that technology is always evolving, so there’s always something new to learn.
How have you advanced professionally since starting your business?
I’ve advanced a lot, especially by studying new frameworks like managing complex changes, learning about OKRs and KPIs, and seeking advice from specialists. Their guidance has helped me grow professionally.
