Forerunner Technologies Opens Regional Office in the UCF Incubator – Winter Springs

Winter Springs, Fla. (Jan. 22, 2016) Forerunner Technologies, Inc., a 28-year old Bohemia, NY-based firm which provides communication solutions, VoIP, security, connectivity, networking and related peripheral equipment and managed services to over 1,000 clients in the southeastern U.S., has opened a regional office at the UCF Business Incubation Program’s facility at 1511 State Road 434 in Winter Springs.

Rafael Caamano, Associate Director for the UCF Business Incubation Program, said the Incubator’s Soft Landing program in Winter Springs – that provides out-of-state and foreign businesses a location from which to introduce their operations in Florida and the U.S – appealed to Forerunner Technologies.

“The new Forerunner Technologies office will support and service Forerunner Technologies’ southeast region clients,” Caamano explained.

Chris Caffera, Forerunner’s Vice President of Strategic Accounts, said the Winter Springs office offers the opportunity to increase the firm’s presence in the region and focus on expansion efforts.

“Forerunner Technologies has significant exponential growth in the areas of VoIP, infrastructure and managed services,” Caffera explained.

Forerunner’s revenues totaled some $20 million in 2015 and the firm is hopeful to increase that number significantly in 2016.

“With the support of our primary manufacturers like NEC, Adtran and the like, combined with dozens of certified technical personnel on staff, Forerunner Technologies expects to play a leading role serving small and medium sized businesses and enterprise clients throughout the southeast region,” Caffera said.
