Covian Consulting Team Has Three Publishing Successes
ORLANDO, Fla. — Maritza Concha, Ph.D., founder of Covian Consulting, is increasingly recognized as an expert in her field as evidence by her three most recent successes in publishing.
The Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health (JOIH) recently accepted Dr. Concha and team’s manuscript on “Anxiety and alcohol consumption among Latina mothers and daughters in South Florida.”
A submission to Nova Science Publishers by Dr. Concha and her team was accepted for publication as chapter four of the book, Social Change: Perspectives, Challenges and Implications for the Future. The Covian team’s chapter deals with social service programs and achieving social change.
The Journal of Latinos and Education accepted her paper on “Fatherhood from a Cultural Perspective Evolving Roles and Identities after a Fatherhood Intervention for Latinos in South Florida.”
Covian Consulting provides tools and services to help agencies, community-based organizations and small businesses develop effective research, communications policy and staff development programs related to multi-cultural, migrant and refugee populations.
