Orlando, Fla. (February 24, 2022) Command Post Technologies is one of 15 companies included as part of the 10-year, $2.4 billion National Cyber Range Complex Lot 2 contract.

The award has been a target of the company and spurred the Virginia-based firm to expand to the Research Park Incubator in 2020. Most of the work for the National Cyber Range Contract Lot 2 will be performed in the Orlando location.

“Being a part of this award will transform our company over the next decade and shows how critical it was for us to be in Orlando where much of this work will be based,” says Scott Bisciotti, president & CEO, Command Post Technologies. “The Soft Landing program at UCF gave us a solid foundation in Central Florida and allowed us to be competitive on this contract.”

The company believes it will hire more than a dozen people to work on this contract, including transferring a senior level executive to Orlando. The jobs will be focused on high-end specialized network and cyber engineering services with a salary range from $75,000 to $150,000.

The company plans to move into the 5,000-square-foot location across from the Partnership V building located at 12001 Research Pkwy, Suite 252, Orlando FL 32826 in April.

“We’re very proud of what Command Post Technologies has been able to accomplish while being a part of the incubation system and it showcases how much of an asset the Soft Landing program can help diversify our economy,” says Carol Ann Dykes Logue, director, Innovation Districts Programs & Operations, University of Central Florida.

Command Post Technologies was founded in 2008 as a service-disabled veteran-owned business, specializing in Cyber Test & Evaluation, Cyber Event Operations and Planning, Joint Test & Evaluation (JT&E), Joint Wargaming and Concept Development, along with Training & Exercise Support.

In 2013, the company was named one of the 500 fastest growing companies in the country by Inc. Magazine and currently has 80 employees in locations across 10 states.

Several companies with an Orlando presence were named by the Department of Defense. Click here to read the release from DoD.
