Orlando, FL – June 5, 2025
Roy Richardson, Chief Security Officer at Aurora InfoTech, delivered a cybersecurity presentation on June 4 for the Orlando Network of Financial Executives International (FEI), the premier professional association for senior and mid-level financial professionals. The event took place at Antonio’s Ristorante in Maitland, Florida.
The session brought together a select group of finance leaders to address today’s most pressing cyber risks. Richardson shared expert insights on cyber liability, business email compromise, third-party vulnerabilities, and the growing influence of AI on digital threats.
“Financial leaders play a critical role in protecting their organizations from cyber risk,” Richardson noted. “This presentation was about equipping decision-makers with the practical steps they can take before, during, and after an incident to reduce impact and recover faster.”
Attended by Central Florida accounting and finance professionals, along with local business leaders, the 40-minute presentation highlighted proactive strategies for identifying vulnerabilities, improving vendor oversight, and integrating incident response planning into business continuity. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where participants explored real-world scenarios and shared internal challenges.
“Roy was a great speaker for the CFO audience,” said Deborah S. Adkins, Co-Founder and CEO of Cornerstone Strategic Alliance. “He used a very engaging style that truly connected with our group and made the content both relevant and accessible.”
