Orlando, Fla. – May 22, 2025
On Saturday, May 17, Aluska Richardson, CEO of Aurora InfoTech, attended a meaningful and heartfelt event hosted by Empowered Girls Inc. The gathering honored mothers while spotlighting the growth and achievements of young women actively involved in the organization’s programs.
The theme of the event focused on gratitude and personal connection, with the girls challenged to show appreciation to their mothers in intentional and thoughtful ways. The energy in the room was emotional and uplifting, as daughters expressed their love through words and actions that left a lasting impact on everyone present.
Beyond the celebration, the event highlighted the accomplishments of the young women, many of whom are graduating with strong GPAs, setting long-term goals, and preparing for bright futures. These stories reflect the mission of Empowered Girls Inc.: equipping young women with the tools, confidence, and mentorship to become future leaders in their communities.
Also featured was a presentation by Alison Kuhn, Pharm. D., who spoke about the importance of mental health in today’s fast-paced environment. Her message emphasized how intentional daily habits can support both emotional and physical well-being.
“It’s inspiring to see how these girls are thriving—and how their growth is already creating ripple effects in the lives of others,” Aluska commented. “Being part of a moment that uplifts both families and future leaders is something we are proud to support.”
