Orlando, Fla. – October 25, 2024—Aurora InfoTech, a leading provider of Cybersecurity and IT solutions, is pleased to share the successful completion of its educational session titled “Exploring Cybersecurity: Unlocking Career Opportunities and Safeguarding the Digital World” at Simon Youth Academy, Orange County Public Schools on October 23, 2024. The event aimed to inspire and educate Junior and Senior students (ages 16-19) about Cybersecurity and the career paths available within this rapidly growing sector.

Aurora InfoTech’s Chief Security Officer (CSO), Roy Richardson, led the session, providing students with a foundational understanding of Cybersecurity. The presentation covered:

  • The importance of Cybersecurity in protecting digital landscapes.
  • The potential consequences if Cybersecurity measures were not implemented.
  • Skills such as problem-solving and vigilance are needed to identify and mitigate cyber threats effectively.

Approximately 20 enthusiastic students participated in the event, which lasted approximately 44 minutes. This created an engaging and interactive learning experience, making complex topics more accessible to the audience.

Feedback from both students and educators was highly positive. Students expressed excitement about exploring a career in Cybersecurity, while educators commended Aurora InfoTech’s approach for making the information both engaging and understandable.
