Apopka Voice Expands into Seminole County with New Media Outlet

Apopka, Fla. (February 12, 2019)– After more than three years of successfully covering the greater Apopka region, the UCF Incubator Company, the Apopka Voice, has expanded into Seminole County by launching The Seminole Source.

The new online media outlet will focus on providing daily community news hyper focused on the people, businesses and leaders that make Seminole County a leader in Central Florida.

“Currently, there is no publication that provides daily news and information about Seminole County,” says Reggie Connell, owner of The Apopka Voice. “This is a great opportunity to develop a new market in a place known as being a great community.”

The Seminole Source will provide news about a wide range of subjects through its custom website and weekly emails. In addition, the company will have a robust social media presence to reach a wider audience.

In Apopka, the Apopka Voice has been able to reach over 40,000 unique visitors to its site each month, has over 6,300 likes on Facebook and is the most read source of daily online news in Apopka.

“We have several great media publications in Seminole County, but none of them cover the county from Altamonte to Geneva and from Longwood to Sanford,” says Jason Brodeur, CEO/president, Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce. “The chamber is certainly looking forward to having a media outlet such as this to tell all the great stories that are happening in the county.”
