Tau Optics Inc. is a spinout from the University of Central Florida College of Optics & Photonics. Their breakthrough technology enables miniaturization of spectrometers much smaller than current market options. The much smaller size offers new applications of spectrometers in wearable devices, health and food detection applications, point-of-need analysis of a wide range of chemical compounds such as drug and emissions, and more.
