Orlando, FL – July 4, 2025 Roy Richardson, Chief Security Officer at Aurora InfoTech, delivered a Cybersecurity presentation on June 27 to members of the Cornerstone Strategic Alliance during a leadership session held at Regions Bank in downtown Orlando. The event brought together a select group of CFOs and senior financial leaders to explore key Cybersecurity issues and the steps organizations can take to reduce risk and strengthen resilience.

The session focused on topics critical to today’s financial executives, including insider threats, third-party vulnerabilities, cyber liability exposure, and the growing role of AI in modern cyberattacks. Richardson addressed the role of financial leadership in strengthening Cybersecurity governance and aligning strategy with operational risk.

“CFOs are in a unique position to influence an organization’s Cybersecurity posture through financial oversight, vendor accountability, and strategic planning,” said Richardson. “This presentation was about giving leaders the knowledge and tools they need to better safeguard their organizations from today’s evolving threats.”

Attended by senior-level financial professionals and executives, the 90-minute presentation included a tabletop exercise and an interactive Q&A. Participants engaged in real-world scenarios and shared insights on risk assessment, vendor controls, and budget planning for cyber readiness.

“Roy was once again an outstanding speaker for our CFO audience,” said Deborah S. Adkins, Co-Founder and EO of Cornerstone Strategic Alliance. “He used a very engaging style that truly connected with our group and made the content both relevant and accessible.”

Richardson gives even more cybersecurity advice for CFOs on the Aurora InfoTech website.
